Hand Sketch
An exploration in interior sketching and shading using graphite pencils on Strathmore Drawing Paper.

Hand Sketch Original Drawing
A two point perspective drawing based on the perspective drop-down method. Materials and finishes specified, a floor plan developed, and graphite pencils were used to achieve texture, shading, and depth.

Elegant Equestrian
The goal was to apply perspective drawing skills and color rendering techniques to communicate lighting conditions, interior finishes, and material textures for a residential space.
The scope of this project included client programming, concept development, space planning, furniture specification, and rendering using Prismacolor and Caliart alcohol-based art markers and Prismacolor Premier® Soft Core Colored Pencil Sets on Clearprint Design Vellum.

First Floor
By using cylindrical and rectangular shapes that echo the barrels, training ring, and fencing, this design encapsulates the warmth and coziness of natural materials like wood, leather, metal, and sisal.

Second Floor
Leather and wool upholstery reminiscent of riding saddles, along with sisal rugs evoking hay and grass textures, create a comfortable ambiance.

Kitchen
White shaker cabinets and picket-shaped tile are reminiscent of fencing and the shape of horses' ears, enhancing the overall aesthetic of the space.
